See how Iris works in 37 seconds.

A short tour of how Iris protects a message from the moment you write it, and everything else that lives on the same account: files, chat and calls. Turn the sound on for the full experience.

How a message travels with Iris.

Email is encrypted while it travels, then stored readable on your provider’s servers and your recipient’s, where one phished login opens years of it. When you write to someone on Iris, the message is encrypted on your device with their key, so the stored copies are ciphertext and only their devices can open it.

Messages between Iris users. Mail to people not on Iris is signed and sent as normal email.

Mail, files, chat and calls, all encrypted.

Alongside encrypted mail, Iris checks drafts for card numbers and IDs before you send, warns you when someone’s key changes, keeps your files in an encrypted vault in your own Drive, and sends large files peer to peer. Chat and calls are end-to-end encrypted too. The app below is live, so try it.

01
Encrypted mail
A lock on every message shows how it travelled.
02
Leak check
Card numbers and IDs caught before you send.
03
Key verification
Know when a contact’s key changes.
04
Iris Vault
Encrypted files in your own Google Drive.
05
Large files
Too big for email, sent encrypted anyway.
06
Chat and calls
End-to-end encrypted, with anyone on Iris.
Try it: this is the Iris app, with demo data.

REVIEW

Independent review before launch

Iris is in beta. The cryptography will be reviewed independently before launch, and we’ll publish what the review covered.

YOUR MAIL

Your mail stays where it is

Your mailbox stays with Gmail or Outlook. Iris encrypts and opens messages on your device, and FluidPrism never stores your mail.
